My starting point for all projects is listening to the clients’ needs. Working together, we can then develop these requirements into your Project Brief. During this development stage I also pay close attention to the site and its surroundings. This is to further understand how it can offer better connections to daylight, nature, space, scale, and choice of materials; all helping to improve our well-being.
We can also discuss any possible constraints, such as planning, site access, budget, and your proposed timescale for the project. I’ll talk you through the whole process from appointment/ surveys, initial ideas, planning, / building regs, through to tender and construction and finally completion.
Taking a hands-on and collaborative approach, i’ll produce a number of sketch design options in 2D and 3D to discuss and explore with you. This process offers lots of questions for us both, as we develop a sustainable, and environmentally aware design solution to meet your needs and the project brief.
